Faesthetic #12

My contribution to Faesthetic #12 included one incarnation of the Megacourse, as well as a couple closet skeleton manifestations from the course.

Album art and packaging for Zombifying Venom, a brutal band spawned from the ashes of As the Sun Sets and Umbrella, in Providence, RI. In respect of their song, “I’ll administer my own flux capacitor, thank you very much” there is a secret Delorean hidden under the CD.
I made this shirt graphic for Rhode Island’s favorite “holy rollers” Jesuscentric.
Made this at the request of Boston punk band Darkbuster. Looking forward to seeing them in a couple weeks with The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
I’ve been flying around the country for work. Seeing all types of neat stuff. Computers and costumes have become fundamental staples in my life.
I went to see Jay-Z in Pennsylvania, and the graphics I’d made for him last year made it to press again for this tour. I also drew a little something for IMPOSE.

I contributed to Cory Godbey’s online collection of Where The Wild Things Are inspired work. That story was a childhood staple, and it was fun to redraw some old characters. Check out the Terrible Yellow Eyes blog.

The Yes Men are a group of culture jamming activists who practice what they call “identity correction” by pretending to be powerful people and spokespersons for prominent organizations. They create and maintain fake websites similar to ones they want to spoof, and then they accept invitations received on their websites to appear at conferences, symposia, and TV shows. While posing as these prominent figures of corporation, they use their identities to admit horrible mistakes on the corporations behalf, and also propose absurd plans for development. So, they’re cool. I made this poster for their recent “Fix the World” movie on HBO. They dig it, and it’s on they’re website. There’s also speculation that someone’s going to get the image tattooed, on there forehead, on tv, naked, really naked. Why do you read this stuff?
